Welcome to the August 2019 LBRY Community update!

Swarm Program Updates
Since announcing the Swarm program last quarter, a total of 23 hives have been created spanning six continents!

New Hives
LBRY Brasil
LBRY Brasil objective is to bring and promote localized content and support in Portuguese, spread free speech, and teach Brazilians about the blockchain technology. So far, the LBRY Brasil Hive has brought many huge Brazilian YouTubers with millions of subscribers to the LBRY platform!
LBRY.Turkey/LBRY.Türkiye Hive
LBRY.Turkey creates Turkish language support of LBRY and promotes localized content in Turkish. Beginners are welcome and this hive aims to inform Turkish speakers through Turkish Blogs, Turkish Guides, Events & Meetings.
LBRY Kerala Hive
On the southernmost tip of India is the LBRY Keral Hive! LBRY Kerala Hive's prime goal is to spread knowledge and create more awareness about the LBRY platform. Their campaigning is focused in Southern India promoting LBRY by creating the awareness among potential users through public presentations, webinars in schools, colleges, and IT parks.

LBRY dorminate Africa Hive
LBRY dorminate Africa is a Ugandan based Hive that is aimed at spreading the LBRY concept allover Africa and using the LBRY platform to transform lives and mindsets of many Africans socially, economically and financially.
Abulic Hive
Connecting and do meetups with Flemish people with an interest in Gaming, Twitch and other streaming platforms. And inform them about LBRY.
LBRY Poland/Erydan Esports
We are an organization which is focused on spreading Polish language and esports content. We are growing our community by educating, organizing events, competitions and sharing content about LBRY and also publishing to LBRY.
Długoszyjce Hive
Polish Syrach gaming community about Polish language and Elder Scrolls Online gaming.
Level 3 Hives
These hives have the distinction of being the busiest hives in the Swarm program, by volume of membership and through hive accomplishments. In the last three months, a total of nine hives earned this distinction.
LBRY India
LBRY India hive members have been busy, signing up over 1000 students in India to download and use the app. They have been working in cooperation with the Vellore Institute of Technology in Chennai, India.
Most recently, over 150 students attended classes to learn how to code and develop on the LBRY protocol. The classes are ongoing weekly. If you'd like to learn more about LBRY India or the program at VIT, please email Clement at clement@lbry.com.

LBRY Social Super Hive
One of the key contributions by the LBRY Social Super Hive is a beautiful and information-packed website created for the entire LBRY community. The site includes information about projects developed on the LBRY blockchain, information about hives, meetups, jobs, and more. LBRY users from novice to advanced can find information and resources at their website here.
LBRY en Español
The LBRY en Español hive has been busy creating Spanish language information and graphics about LBRY. Spanish language content is regularly added on their LBRY channel lbry://@lbryesp.
China LBRY Hive
The China Hive is dedicated to teaching Chinese users how to use LBRY. Most recently, they've been working on translating and localizing the LBRY app and documents in Chinese language and will be in an upcoming version of LBRY.

Lazybit Hive
Lazybit hive is working towards raising the level of knowledge about cryptocurrency and distributed technologies in the geographic area of ex-Yugoslavia/Balkans/Adriatic region.
Open Source LBRY
The Open Source LBRY Hive develops software to help automate collecting and publishing of content to the LBRY Network.
LBRY-C Hive
The LBRY.Community hive is dedicated to bringing attention to the LBRY protocol and applications built on the LBRY protocol.
Poland Noob Team Hive
The Noob Team hive has been involved in esports events as well as actively working to translate the LBRY app into Polish! The first version of the Polish translation shipped in the LBRY app, and they are blazing a trail for many other localizations to soon follow!
LBRY.records Hive
The LBRY.records Hive met in person in Izmir to strategize to launch their own record label utilizing the LBRY protocol for publication. They're also working on a website as a home to promote and market their music.
Level 2 Hive Highlights
Interactive Fiction Hive
The most recent achievement by this hive is a Wiki to document how to create and upload LitRPG, Interactive Fiction, and text games to LBRY. This is a combination how-to guide plus an index of interesting interactive fiction content on LBRY.
Ukraine LBRY Supporters
The Ukraine LBRY Supporters Hive focuses on bringing attention to LBRY in Ukraine.
The LBRY Swarm is a community program to promote awareness, use, and development of the LBRY protocol and network. We believe in empowering people across the globe to be able to promote and monetize their content and regain control from corporate-controlled centralized platforms.
